Help me not have white legs......pleeeease

We are off on hols in a months time and my legs are white. The rest of me is quite tanned looking, but it is wind burn rather than suntan (spend most of my day outdoors, no matter what the weather).
I categorically, and I cannot stress this enough, will not apply false tan. I have tried and failed on too many occasions to even consider it, i dont care how fool proof it is, it is not Tooold proof.
I seem to remember being able to get a moisturiser that had a gradual tanning effect - Johnsons???? I did use that (about 20 years ago) and was happy it just took the glare of whiteness off my legs, but I cant see it anywhere.

I am wittering. I apologise 😂

Can anyone recommend a none disaster guaranteed gradual tan moisturiser thing?

Another vote for Vita Liberata Body Blur here.

I’m not particularly pale and have still managed to make a right mess in the past with those gradual tans, they can go streaky if you’re not careful and most of them smell awful (on me anyway). If you want to fake tan I’d go for a proper one with a guide colour so you can see where it’s going but the body blur is your safest bet, it does wash off though so maybe not ideal if you’re going to be spending a lot of time in the water.

I use St Tropez express which is sort it gradual as you leave it on for 1,3 or 3 hours depending on the level of darkness required. I think it leaves a lovely golden colour, rather than orange.

I do like Dove but it stays sticky for hours following application and I think has a strange smell when developing.
