Primark Beauty Products

I have just returned from my local Primark and got a lovely perfume which smells very much like a Jo Malone dupe, a lipstick which cost 90p and a lovely lip gloss.

What other Primark beauty products would you recommend? Are their foundations, mascaras any good? I was a bit overwhelmed by at all so any recommendations welcomed so I am more prepared for my next visit.

Don't buy the W mascara it doesn't dry then it falls on your face I ended up looking like him from clockwork orange Hmm

Their eyebrow pencil is really good and only £2!

kazzymac · 29/04/2019 17:13

The Matt primer in a black tube is really good and I think it's £3.

UserN0me · 29/04/2019 17:17

The Matt foundation is really good. And not too Matt. I prefer it to double wear

At the moment I’m liking: £1 gel nail polishes (in the square bottle); False Lash Effect mascara; Glow setting spray; Glow wipes; PS Noir perfume.

Following never used primark products but want to give them a go...

Mrsjayy · 29/04/2019 17:42

I do buy eyeliners and lipsticks though which I do like.

Blankscreen · 29/04/2019 17:44

I like their mascara in a silver box £3. Got on Thursday and it's fab. Lipliners also good

Which is the name of jo malone dupe perfume?

Auldspinster · 29/04/2019 17:45

Liquid eyeliner and waterproof mascara are great. Nail varnish also good.

SapphireBattersea · 29/04/2019 17:47

Some of the perfumes are amazing - although admittedly the smell doesn't last long, doesn't matter as its so cheap

Thedarklady · 29/04/2019 17:51

Do they have the Alex Loves range at a Primark near you? It's a skincare line by the beauty editor Alex Steinherr. She has gorgeous skin (she's 43) and spent ages getting it right, the ingredients list is great.

bingirl · 29/04/2019 18:06

@Thedarklady

I think they did have this range, I will give it a go next time I'm there.

I saw the 'Alex Loves' range , there is a huge bottle of Micellar Gel Cleanser that is on my "To Try List" once I have worked my way through things in my Hoarders Stash.

I bought the nail polish for DD - she likes it , but the brush is a bit wide for her nails .

Good to know they have the Cruelty Free Bunny logo too.

The Faux Malone jasmine and honey is wonderful and I really like the pistachio leave on mask is great for a deep moisturizer.

tierraJ · 29/04/2019 19:32

I like the face wipes for sensitive skin

evilharpy · 30/04/2019 06:08

False Lash mascara in the gold tube is brilliant stuff, I ditched Clinique when i discovered it. The 3 in 1 eyebrow pencil with a little spongey powder applicator in the middle is really good. Lipsticks I’ve tried are all good.

I swatched a Disney eyeshadow palette the other day, not my thing but the pigments were really strong, I was impressed.

pinkmagic1 · 30/04/2019 06:22

The fast dry nail polish. Comes in mini pots and is just 60p. Lasts for days without chipping.

Housewife2010 · 30/04/2019 06:23

I have some of the Alex Steinherr skincare range ( it's called Alex Steinherr not Alex Loves). It was nice but I wasn't impressed enough to rebuy.

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 30/04/2019 06:25

The mandarin & basil handcream in the silver tube is great.

FairySunbath · 30/04/2019 06:25

Can I ask, what is the staying power of the products like? The main problem I've found with cheaper products is they don't last long on the face at all. With the exception of a mascara I bought for £1 in Savers which was bloody brilliant!
