Is this smart enough for a wedding?

I posted a while ago about wedding outfits and decided I would wear a dress to the daytime part and a jumpsuit in the evening.

I had liked this jumpsuit but thought it wasnt worth the money. I have since tried on about 50 and have found it slightly reduced (£150) so am now reconsidering it.

Would be grateful for anyone's thoughts on the subject! Thanks.

Jumpsuits are fine I wouldn't wear this one to a wedding, no. I would wear it to work! It's also really expensive, I think there are nicer jumpsuits out there for half the price.

BrillyPribble · 26/04/2019 15:06

Agree with mistermagpie, it's nice enough but I'd wear that to work not a wedding.
Why do you need to change outfit for the evening though? That seems pretty unusual to me for a guest, although I haven't been to a wedding for years.

I'm sure there are but none of them suit me! I know what you mean tho but hoped as it was just the night part I might get away with it!

Just keep the dress on all day. Or is it your own wedding and you want to do that thing where the bride has two outfits?

DramaSchoolMums · 26/04/2019 15:08

Could you not get away with this for daytime also? With killer bright coloured heels, clutch and a hat or hair do?

Starryskiesinthesky · 26/04/2019 15:08

There is a gap as the wedding itself is late morning followed by a meal and then a few hours gap until evening reception. That's why I thought I could change into jumpsuit!

Ha! No its not my wedding! I have a dress that I really like and is posh enough for the wedding - and need to get more wear out of but also fancied something new.

If I get too posh a jumpsuit I wont be able to wear it much but if I get something that I can dress up or down it would be more worth it!

Plus I really do find jumpsuits hard to get so that they fit the top, waist and bottom. This one achieves that miracle!

I'd buy it anyway if it looks good on you. It will be very versatile - work, lunches, weekends away.

If the wedding is summery and a little bit informal in the evening then it will be fine with nice shoes. If it is posh hotel or a formal evening reception then it wouldn't be suitable. (but then what do I know!?)

Are other guests changing their outfits half way through the day? I mean this politely, but if no one else is changing you might look as though you're doing it for attention.

Starryskiesinthesky · 26/04/2019 16:56

Hi Curbside I know what you mean! I may just take a couple of outfits and see what feels right at the time!
