Ok so in reality she could just wear it anyway

but could anybody link to similar thats for girls?

She is 19 (and has Aspergers) so want to get her something that doesn't bring her hassle.

Another one who thinks the original is fine. Although I understand your concerns, so here are some suggestions:

m.topshop.com/en/tsuk/product/tape-sweatshirt-by-hiit-8417612

www.johnlewis.com/j-crew-brooklyn-sweatshirt-heather-grey/p3687128

Hope you find something she’s happy with Flowers

nomilknosugarplease · 24/04/2019 08:51

You are overthinking it. Flowers I think it’s quite ‘trendy’ to go for a men’s jumper at the minute - DD and all her friends often sport an oversized, baggy ‘boyfriend’ jumper with skinny jeans.

bigcomfypants · 24/04/2019 08:52

She should wear whatever she wants.

Bobcut · 24/04/2019 08:53

My sister wears baggy male style tops, they are currently in fashion, all this drake trend, topshop do it too so it won’t look odd
So many unisex clothes now like Adidas too it’s fine

TheMightyToosh · 24/04/2019 09:52

Bless you OP for trying so hard to get it right for your DD Thanks

The jumper looks great Smile

I don't think anyone would say anything but maybe you could help her prepare a response if someone asks if it's men's. Most likely they won't and if they do it wouldn't be unfriendly but if she has a response already it might be helpful.

My son is also on the spectrum and I am guilty of over thinking similar situations!

Whattodofgs · 24/04/2019 11:48

I have also seen this one which I think she will like too https://www.hollisterco.com/shop/uk/p/applique-logo-crewneck-sweatshirt-19246823?seq=01&faceout=model

Hmm. I remember wearing a unisex black denim jacket to college as a teen & it being commented on negatively by the boys which upset me as I wanted them to like the way I dressed.

However now I'm 42 I wear a pink men's Superdry hoody over my work uniform & gym kit & no one cares.
Probably looks like a women's as it's pink.

Fine to wear what you like as a grown woman with confidence who's secure in their looks but I can see that a teenager who's been bullied would probably have very fragile confidence.
Teens at college are a bit older but still can get bullied.
Why not buy a similar looking women's sweatshirt from eg Topshop or JD Sports?

tierraJ · 24/04/2019 17:06

The hollister top is nice
