My hair has gone curly!?

As a child I had odd ringlet but by school age it was just an annoying wavey mess that straightened as years went on. Fast forward 40 years and today I've developed something resembling curls!
Was running late for lunch so front and top of hair got quick blast, left rest to dry and thought no more about it till mid afternoon when I look in mirror and have some ringlets and some definite waves. Think I might like to encourage it but no idea how!
Apologies for pics, looks better in flesh.

Are you related to me? Mine's exactly the same. I'm slightly older than you and as I get older it gets curlier. It may be worth trying the curly girl method but although I got good results with it I can't afford the shampoos & conditioner. I'm currently using an ultimate blends shampoo, the one in the white bottle, an tresemme platinum strength conditioner, and they seem to be working well together

I have kinky hair that's got more determined to do its thing as I've got older. Have a go at curly girl method. It doesn't have to be expensive. You can either do your homework and try cheap supermarket GGM products and technique, or do what I did, grab a cantu taster pack off amazon and make use of an old t-shirt.

Turns out that some of my kinky waves are proper curls, with the right encouragement!

Are you menopausal or recently gone onto any medication? Both hormones & some medicines can affect hair growth - not just whether it grows but how it grows.

My hair went curly with each pregnancy so I'd assume hormone changes. Curly girl method to make the most of it.

Ill check out curly girl, not on any meds but did wonder if the boiling hot at night was a sign of things to come!

I use Frizz Ease Dream Curls spray - adds great definition to my wavy curls.
