Can anyone recommend a non-greasy hand cream. Thanks

I've got the L'occitane tubes of hand cream in my handbags, side of the bed, bathroom, living room etc. It's the only thing that makes my hands soft, smells nice and doesn't leave them greasy. A little bit goes a long way.

LaLaLamp · 10/04/2019 23:06

I use Neal's Yard Geranium & Orange. You only need a bit though, otherwise it does feel greasy.

frugalkitty · 10/04/2019 23:10

The Aveeno hand cream with blue lid/detail (not the green one) is lovely, really moisturising but not greasy. Also, the Nivea q10 isn't greasy either.

Banhaha · 10/04/2019 23:20

I second the Aveeno with the Blue detail. It's got "skin relief restoring hand cream" on it and is for very dry, sensitive and chapped hands.

La Roche-Posay cicaplast mains is good but pricey.

Garnier do a 7 day shea butter one that I thought might be greasy but I find isn't at all.

BalloonDinosaur · 10/04/2019 23:21

I love this stuff and it smells amazing

Banhaha · 10/04/2019 23:21

The la Roche posay one is probably the greasiest out of those three but I use it at night.

Ivegotthree · 10/04/2019 23:26

Clarins or L'Occitane

Snog · 11/04/2019 07:24

Sabon is lovely

bassackwards · 11/04/2019 07:30

Aveeno blue cap.

Effective, non greasy, not heavily perfumed, good for sensitive skin.

borntobequiet · 11/04/2019 07:58

I like the other Aveeno with the beige (?) cap, but Aldi’s lookalike is nearly as good and half the price (the Savers price).
Lots of hand creams seem to include that preservative that’s an irritant, I immediately know as my skin goes red and I get a tingling sensation.

Onynx · 11/04/2019 09:12

The Aveeno with the blue cap is really good but I'm finding it really difficult to find recently. The Clarins red tube is good too but vv pricey

ButterfliesandMoths · 11/04/2019 14:12

Nice selection to choose from. Thanks everyone.

Sorry if this isn't the done thing but I've come back to say I've been using neutrogena hydro boost hand gel cream and it is so non greasy! It doesn't feel as moisturising to me as some of the others that I recommended earlier though.

Loubyloulou88 · 13/04/2019 17:09

Liz Earle hand cream is lovely and non greasy

CointreauVersial · 13/04/2019 17:52

L'Occitane and Neutragena are the best imho (and I use a LOT of handcream). I also had a tube of Elizabeth Arden handcream in a gift with purchase recently, and that was pretty good too, but more expensive.

FloofyDoof · 13/04/2019 23:18

I use L'Occitane almond stuff if I'm indoors, and have started using the neutrogena anti-aging one with 25spf. It's less than a fiver a tube so, non greasy, and easily absorbed.

I use all my face stuff on the back of my hands (vit c, glycolic acid and Retin-a), and find that I am better at consistently applying spf to my hands this way.

wowfudge · 13/04/2019 23:21

L'Occitane or Clarins as per a pp.

DeadCertain · 14/04/2019 14:19

L'Occitane definitely for me too.

beanaseireann · 14/04/2019 16:37

It's funny how our tastes are so different.
I wouldn't rate L'Occitane handcream at all.
The scents are lovely but you get a very small tube for a whole lot of money. It doesn't work great either imho.
But I have dreadful dry hands.

GoodGirlsGuide · 14/04/2019 16:41

I’d absolutely recommend the Clarins hand cream. I have three on the go at the moment - a large pump bottle in my car, a tiny one in my handbag and normal sized tube in the lounge to put on when I’m relaxing watching tv in the evenings. I’ve used it 20 years and rarely use anything else (although the Molton Brown in our downstairs bathroom is pretty nice too!).

beanaseireann · 15/04/2019 08:09

I've just started using the CeraVe Restorative hand cream. It's very good, and not expensive.
It's unscented though so not in the Clarins/ L'Occitane glamorous, pricey but useless bracket.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 15/04/2019 08:12

Elizabeth Arden 24 hr hand cream. It’s the business.

Onynx · 15/04/2019 09:58

Kiehls handcream looks good too- I think that's going to be the next one I try.

LadyOfTheCanyon · 15/04/2019 21:33

I have an Arket one which is the least greasy hand cream I've ever used. I can't get on with most hand creams as I can't bear having to wait till my hands feel 'normal' again.

ButterfliesandMoths · 16/04/2019 22:45

LadyOfTheCanyon that's exactly how I feel, so will definitely give your suggestion a try.
Thanks again everyone for all your suggestions.
