Desparate Revolax Deep was used. All 3 ml cost £360 as I got a discount after the first at £140.
I had been using a posh clinic for Botox, they had quoted me over £1000 for filler treatment.
Last year I moved over to a nurse with a treatment room at home after seeing her Botox work.
The nurse arranged an initial consultation with a doctor who has to prescribe the Botox, no charge for this. Since then I presume it’s on repeat prescription. Don’t know if that covered the Revolax as well, or if that doesn’t need a doctor to prescribe.
Clinic charge for Botox was £300, nurse charges £200, takes more time & treatment lasts longer. That’s why I enquired about fillers with her. Just had the nose to mouth done at first, was so pleased I went back for the marionette horrors.
All of this is “suck it and see” really. You just get to know more about it and what you want as you go along.
Like a pp has said, I was concerned about the marble in cheeks look with cheek fillers, but I think I’ll gently try it at some point. It’s a lot less traumatic as it’s one injection then a cannula. The direct line filling is lots of small injections, it wasn’t painless.
There were forms to sign with the nurse, as at the clinic. Nurse was very thorough in pointing out risks & statistics & also confirmed she had equipment there to deal with anaphylactic shock & would get me to hospital fast.
The only downside with the nurse is that, unlike the clinic, I don’t get some snotty receptionist begrudgingly offering me coffee as I wait 40 minutes for the doctor doing the Botox to grace us with her presence!
