Hair detangling spray for dry hair

Is there such a thing? My hair is wavy/curly and sometimes it's really tangled after sleeping (I do clip it up overnight sometimes).

Does anyone know of a product that can be used on dry hair that won't weigh it down and make it look greasy like a leave in conditioner does?

I use hair oil on dd's hair

even when you're not going to be washing it afterwards?

Yes. It's only a couple of pumps of oil and a little goes a long way.

Thank you. Is something like argan oil OK? (coconut allergy)

It's an argan oil one we have. Think we got it in lidl in Spain last year as dds hair is long and was very tangled and hard to manage

I use Charles Worthington gentle detangling spray from Boots about £5

I use this. Worth a shot for £1.50!

www.superdrug.com/Palmer%27s/Palmer%27s-Coconut-Oil-Formula-Leave-In-Conditioner-250ml/p/422400?singleResultSearchPage=true# I use this - Palmer's coconut leave-in conditioner with a tangle teaser brush - brilliant.

You can buy a hair wrap or turban.

I used to have really tangled or knotted hair in the morning but now it looks like I've brushed it.

I use a super expensive silk one (Silke from Lookfantastic with the code LF20). It's worked wonders for me.

Thedarklady · 10/04/2019 21:25

Forgot to add I only wear it in bed.

HundredMilesAnHour · 10/04/2019 21:28

Another vote for Palmer's coconut leave-in conditioner - with a Tangle teaser brush too. Smile

I do a lot of braiding in my diabetes's hair and use detangling spray every day. We use this one by sweethearts hair design, absolutely brilliant and not at all greasy x

Haha that was supposed to say daughter's hair....

I put on argon oil and moose when my hairs wet. Give it a good brush in the shower when the conditioner is on and then only use one of these comb it when its dry.

Thanks for the suggestions. I can't try the Palmers one as I have a coconut allergy. I like the sound of a turban thing too to try to prevent the tangling as clipping it up overnight obviously isn't enough.
