Is BlueSky as good as Gelish?

My current nail technician/beautician is going off on a long maternity leave.
I've been looking around for someone to do my nails before I go on holiday and found a beautician locally who works from home and does manicures/pedicures etc but she uses BlueSky gel polish.
I have always had Gelish polish (sometimes glitter with top coat) and its lasted 3 wks and looked lovely. I have also been able to remove it safely at home using acetone nail varnish remover and wrapping/soaking each nail.
Is there much difference in the two polishes - I have read that Blyesky can be harder to remove. Would appreciate any advice.

Bluesky is not a professional brand it can be bought on amazon. Is the new nail person charging less? Bluesky is significantly cheaper to buy per bottle. Whether it will last as long depends on many things, one of the main being the prep and application by the therapist. So it really isn't just about the polish, but I know amongst professionals gellish is considered a better brand.

Bluesky is defo a bit of a pain to remove imo. I do like it though

I use Bluesky to do my own nails and really like it. I think it can be a little hard to take off though.

Thanks for all the replies.
The new nail person is cheaper than what I usually pay. However I think i will stick with what I know (I do love the Gelish colours/glitters) and I will look for another person or salon that does Gelish.

I’m a beauty therapist and personally would avoid someone that uses bluesky on a professional level.
You should be fine with many of the other professional brands available. Often the problem is finding someone that does a decent set of nails. Good prep, no cuticle flooding etc.

I am also a beauty therapist and would not use bluesky. It is not a professional brand. Anyone can buy it off eBay or amazon so I would question this technician's experience and qualifications. I can't imagine any professional using it.
