Where can I get low rise, soft jeggings?

I posted the same question last year and managed to find some perfect ones from New Look. I ordered two pairs but they've sadly gone all baggy. And now New Look only do high-rise ones (sob).

I can't stand anything around my waist, but low rise just don't seem to be the fashion. Very annoying! H&M have got some but I ordered some and they're not very comfortable (and look a bit shit). I want some really soft ones and they're more like proper jeans rather than jeggings.

Can anyone help? It's literally what i wear every single day, so feeling a bit desperate!

Try Topshop Leigh.

Erm, no they're not. They're described on the Topshop website as mid rise but they sit lower.

Thank you both. The Hollister ones look perfect. I've just ordered some! thanks again.

Topshop Leigh are high rise!

I can confirm that they aren't. My wife is wearing a pair now and has about a dozen pairs in different colours.

She hates high rise with a passion.

I have a few pairs of Leigh jeans and they are high rise

If they’re billed as mid-rise it will just depend on the length of each person’s torso!

RottnestFerry · 02/04/2019 20:46

Mr Google brought forth this pearl of wisdom:

Low-rise: The definition of low-rise can vary by company, but generally sit at or below your hips and fall within the 7-8" range. ... Mid-rise: Mid-rise jeans usually sit between the hips and the belly button. You'll like the mid-rise jeans if you have battled "muffin top" with low-rise jeans in the past.

25" waist Leigh jeans measure exactly 7.5" (sample of three)

How good of a man to come on the style and beauty section and post about the measurements of women’s low rise (or otherwise) jeans. Not at all weird. Confused

How good of a woman to come on to the style and beauty section and ably demonstrate that sexism isn't the preserve of men.

Try Dorothy Perkins too

Always go to primark for jeggings. They are amazing and about £6

Is RottnestFerry a man? Women can have wives too

My thoughts exactly.

As it happens I am a man. One with who has studied, and taught, fashion and who also started making his own clothes when he was a teenager, although not for a few years now. I suspect Queenbean would think that weird too.

However, I don't want to turn this thread into a slanging match. I responded to it because my wife (who doesn't do forums) also prefers low-cut trousers and skirts but has trouble finding them. Low cut combats seem to be the Holy Grail at the moment, despite being everywhere a few years ago.

TapasForTwo · 04/04/2019 10:17

Thank you for the very useful information Rottnest. Ignore the snippy comments. I hate low rise because I am pear shaped with a defined waist, so anything low rise just cuts into me, and I am always having to hitch them up.

I wish all trousers/jeans manufacturers would state the crotch depth on their websites.
