Frown line - help!

Feeling quite gutted about this (I know there are worse things in the world!) - I’m 40 and think I have pretty good skin (I use factor 50 everyday). No wrinkles as yet EXCEPT a vertical frown line which is starting to appear. I hate it! Of all the types of wrinkles, I think this is one of the worst - it can make your face look so hard. I suspect it’s from not wearing sunglasses as I can never find any I like.

Short of botox, is there ANYTHING at all I can do to reduce it and prevent it getting worse, other than the sunglasses??

IPL - laser treatment. Sometimes called ‘Laser Skin Rejuvenation’. It doesn’t just stop the lines bedding in, it wakes your skin up, stops new spots in their tracks...it’s brilliant. It is uncomfortable though. And I can take a fair bit of pain, so you may think painful, rather than uncomfortable. A bit like having an elastic band flicked on your face.

Ooooh er - and does it cost millions?

The salon I had the treatments completed at, were charging £39 per session. You could have a free patch test too, beforehand.

Just have botox, it's honestly pain free, very safe and lasts ages

A fringe... it's free Grin

Fannydango · 01/04/2019 18:45

Oh wow, £39?!

Yes, I thought about a fringe but I’ve just grown mine out after about 10 years!!!

I’m a bit scared of Botox...
