North face or super dry boys?

My boy has a birthday coming up and would love a nice “anything” with a label. I however don’t have money to burn - has anyone seen any bargains on these brands or any Under Armour stuff of late? Thank you!

Superdry has a sale on at the moment, they also have an outlet on eBay which is always cheap.
North face their T-shirt’s can be cheap from jd sports.
How old is he?
Champion is quite reasonably priced, Lyle and scott as well.
Have a look on m&m direct or get the label

pongopig · 31/03/2019 14:17

Try amazon for north face

gegs73 · 31/03/2019 14:21

Super Dry is over where we live. North Face is very popular - expensive though! Depending on his age/size look at the large boys clothes if he can fit them rather than small men’s. DS saved over £100 (his money not mine) by buying a boys coat rather than a mans.

gegs73 · 31/03/2019 14:23

Also look in TKMaxx for branded clothes. They are really good value compared to JD Sports etc.

OKBobble · 31/03/2019 14:26

SuperDry is for u13 or over 40 where we live.

I'd go with North Face and looking on Depop

WildCherryBlossom · 31/03/2019 14:37

Sports direct stock quite a bit of Under Armour.

iloveredwine · 31/03/2019 14:39

How old is he? north face here for all the age 13 + here. it's 40 plus for superdry

Fresta · 31/03/2019 15:33

DD says only roadmen wear north face.

Perty01234 · 31/03/2019 15:34

Here it’s more champion, Lyle and Scott then some really expensive brands that are just ridiculous.
He also wears Ralph Laurent T-shirt’s , hilifger, Boss and these are mid range 🙈
He wore super dry, probably in Year 6/7 then it moved to Hype in year 7... then moved on from there! Blooming kids

ChippyMinton · 31/03/2019 15:35

Another vote for the Superdry outlets on eBay - windcheater jackets for around £30.

ZaraW · 31/03/2019 18:29

The Kenzo Tiger sweatshirt is really popular with my friend's 13 year old and his friends though it's ridiculously expensive.

Perty01234 · 31/03/2019 18:40

@ZaraW really popular here too.. and supreme. Crazy prices!

ZaraW · 31/03/2019 18:57

Perty where are you? My friend's son is in Manchester.

Perty01234 · 31/03/2019 19:21

We are in Leeds, I blame cities!

WhatNow40 · 31/03/2019 19:23

What?! £180 on a sweatshirt? For a child?

I've never spent that much on 1 item of clothing in my entire life, let alone something for a child that's still growing. Madness. My DS better hope George is in fashion when he's 13!!Grin

sagradafamiliar · 31/03/2019 19:26

Ideas: Calvin Klein boxers, a north face top or cap, Armani t-shirt.
Not superdry though.

ZaraW · 31/03/2019 19:28

WhatNow it's ridiculous. I've often asked why not buy something cheaper and save extra money for driving lessons or uni. But they want him to be cool.....

Perty01234 · 31/03/2019 20:08

It’s crazy isn’t it.. mine is 16 and very conscious. We buy him some expensive stuff (birthday and Xmas) as the main present... but can’t keep up with the rest. So he saves for it!

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 31/03/2019 20:30

I have a just turned 17yr old son and superdry is a big no no as well as a no no with the just turned 13yr old dd.

North face is popular. Are you near a Costco? They have jackets and hoodies. The hoodies are £35 ish and the jacket which is just a lightweight waterproof is about £45.

They also have timberland t shirts for £12 or fila for £10. They often have Ralph Lauren polo shirts for a lot cheaper than John Lewis.
