Laser Resurfacing for Hyperpigmentation

Has anyone had this ? Despite wearing sunscreen every day and living in the UK I have big patches if hyperpigmentation on my face and one age spot. They came with pregnancy and haven't gone away. Sick of wearing foundation all the time so was researching and this seems to be the best option.

Has anyone had this ? Did it work ?

I've always suffered with hyperpigmentation, so you really do have my sympathies.

I've tried laser, derma roller, dermaplaning, and near enough every cream on the market. The laser helped, but it wasn't an instant result, I had 5 sessions in total, the patches have very nearly gone.

They do return in the summer, despite wearing factor 50, and always trying to keep my face in the shade as much as possible, but not as dark as they used to be.

I use The Ordinary products now, they're so cheap, and they really do work.

What Ordinary products do you use ? I was looking at them but not sure if they would work as well as the laser. It really gets me down, especially the sun spot it's a big brown splodge right in the middle of my face and it can't be covered with any make up

Yeah, I'd definitely try the laser treatment, but you need to think about starting soon whilst we're not having that much sun (if you're UK based) my face lady, doesn't like to do laser in the summer, or just before I go on holiday.

I use the Lactic Acid 10%, AHA 30%, and the Vitamin C suspension. I alternate which one I use each night. Honestly I've tried so many products over the years, and for the price I'm gobsmacked at the results.

They're a little harsh to begin with, so be careful, and you may notice your skin peeling slightly after the first few uses, but it soon settles down.

My face looks like the "before" picture. And when that Clinique ad came out with the speckled egg, I sent them a picture of my face and said "thanks a bunch".

Sicario mine is like that too.

Thanks I'll give them a go first. Going for a consultation this week so hopefully will get it done in the next couple of weeks
