Corned beef legs!

OK, first hint this weekend that summer may be in our future... and so comes my annual anxiety about my legs!!

I've lost quite a bit of weight and for the first time since my teens they're actually a great shape, so I'd love to brave shorts / shorter skirts and dresses in the summer. But my legs look awful!

They never tan well, and are always the colour of a tin of corned beef Sad. I've got an allergy to most fake tans, so that's not an option.

What can I start doing now so that by the time summer comes around, I can feel better about baring them in public?

Hit me with your best tips please!

Sheer tights with skirts/dresses. Shorts - either bare them and be proud or avoid shorts if you can't use fake tan.

Thanks verynice

I was wondering more about exfoliation, shaving v waxing, etc, and if there were any techniques worth trying out.

Sally Hansen airbrush legs - its like foundation for your legs

My legs don't tan naturally at all, and neither do they tan with fake tan. Whatever the hormone/chemical you need to be able to tan, I clearly don't have it. I just use wash-off fake tan, and try not to get splashed!

Have you tried boosting the circulation in your legs, to see if that makes a difference to their appearance? Dry brushing and the like.

I don't think exfoliating, waxing or shaving would make an impact on corned beef legs, sorry.

I don't know whether you already know what's causing it, but if you don't, it might be worth getting a blood pressure and heart rate monitor, taking and writing down some readings over about a week or so, and seeing your GP if there are any abnormalities. Noticable discolouration can be a symptom of circulatory problems that can improve with treatment.

Obviously ignore if you already know! Regardless, I hope you find something that works for you.

St tropez wash off bronzer. Shaving, waxing, massage ... wont do anything. My very thin & beautiful friend manages to rock the corned beef look... and has never stopped her from being admired!!
