I have thin, poker straight hair in a bob just past my ears. I'm trying to grow it about another 4 or so inches and get a fringe cut in. I bought a new brush recently to try a get some lift at the roots and body to my shitty hair. It a large radial brush with a metal core and plastic bristles. But it's ruining my hair!! It's breaking really badly and I don't have much to spare Shock can someone please recommend a decent brush that'll give me some body????

Tangle Teezer round blow dry brush. You won't regret it!!

It doesn't pull and they are great as you don't need to apply heat directly to the brush.

Thanks snow I'll give it a go, £18 is a bit more than I'd usually spend but I'd rather be skint than bald Grin

Haha. I got mine brand new in box on eBay for £12 delivered. Try there. They have some.yohrube tutorials you could watch first before you buy to see if it's the sort of thing you are looking for xx

Mason Pearson, it's made a huge difference to my hair, thick, fine and wavy long hair. It's pricy but wirth it and lasts forever.

What about a hot air styling brush like the Revlon one step volumizer? I have a babyliss hot air styling brush but the one I mention above might work for you based on youtube vids I've seen.
