I'm keen to try the new No7 Foundation and the CND Keratin nail treatment. Agree with her choice of Barry M's Gelly but not so much Elnett hairspray (can't stand the smell).

Personal favourites and repeat purchases of mine are Rimmel's Professional Eyebrow Brow Pencil, Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner, Simple Micellar Cleansing Water and L'Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo.

What would you add?

I have really dry skin so the Nivea in a blue tub is excellent for me!

Also Simple eye makeup remover - have used it for years. Their face wipes also do a good job on eye makeup. DD uses the Simple moisturising face wash not only because of the Little Mix packaging

ChicCroissant · 19/03/2019 12:27

Burts Bees lipsalve as well.

MinesaPinot · 19/03/2019 13:45

Simple or Garnier Micellar Water (the Garnier one for sensitive skin)

Garnier Ultralift Day and Night creams

Garnier dual eyemake up remover (the one you shake to mix) - this is the standout for me, and I have ditched Clinique Take the Day Off eye and lip cleanser for this one

Also have recently bulk purchased, and am loving, the Aldi Hot Cloth Cleanser and Pixi Glow dupe (I've mentioned this on another thread). Did not like the Midnight Power night cream, however, which brought me up in spots after 2 days use, so has been relegated to a body cream.

OldJoseph · 19/03/2019 14:29

I agree about the Aldi Hot Cloth cleanser.

I would add Steam Cream and Superdrug's calm skin oil.

I think SH's column next week focuses on skin and body care.

OldJoseph · 19/03/2019 14:29

Oh and Aquaphor for lips.

SrSteveOskowski · 19/03/2019 15:06

Primark gel effect nail polishes and their copy of ELDW. Both brilliant.

Itsautumn · 19/03/2019 17:43

I like the Bourjois foundations.
I’m looking forward to the skincare next week!

Shitonthebloodything · 19/03/2019 17:48

Is add baptiste dry shampoo, Molton brown lip saver, bourjois healthy mix foundation and beauty pie's face palette - the one that has bronze, blush, highlight and eyeshadow in one.

Bottle of sweet almond oil

BumboBaggins · 19/03/2019 18:00

The Tesco concealer in the little square black pot with transparent lid is the most incredible concealer for the price. I’ve bought two pots of it over the course of many years because it has genuinely lasted me forever as it’s so pigmented (which for a cheap product is fantastic and rare). It’s not an all over product, I just use it for pin point concealing and spots but I could not be without it! Must have been about a fiver. Do they still sell it???

elotrolado · 19/03/2019 18:07

Some great recommendations here! Must try the Primark gel nail polishes.

Is the concealer Barbara Daly at Tesco? I don't see their own make up anymore, I have tried a couple of things in the past and they were always really good.

W7 prism 3d highlighting powder.

I love this stuff. I use it as a highlighter and an eyeshadow.

It's about two quid!

Palominoo · 19/03/2019 18:14

This is a great little concealer. I use with a little brush and it does not budge until you take it off but is also very bendable.

Great choice of colours for my skin when I do or don't have a tan.

Just bought the RXx nail treatment Sali recommended - really hoping it works!!

I love Sali's column and have tried lots of her top buys - the Collection concealer is the best ever and I also repeat buy a Simple foaming face wash she's recommended previously.

Hoping she'll add Korres products to her lists - absolutely love the fig shower gel and sunflower shampoo for coloured hair!

Really don't get on with the L'Oreal paradise mascara though - very disappointing and clumpy after a few weeks of use.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 19/03/2019 19:45

Richlyfruited I'm loving the Korres Santorini Vine Shower Gel & Body Lotion which I've just treated myself too. Takes me back to my holidays there.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 19/03/2019 19:57

Super drug again, optimum range bedtime balm. Smells lovely, remove with hot cloth and it leaves your skin super soft. Avon planet spa hand cream dupe for L'occitaine especially the lavender.

elotrolado · 19/03/2019 20:02

Bumbo - that’s it! I tried it and it was fab, haven’t seen it again though. It was the perfect shade and size for pockets/small handbags!

Revlon lipsticks, hands down. Massive shade range, non drying, unscented and not expensive. I love them!

Revolution reloaded eyeshadow palettes, £4 a pop, lasts for ages on my eyelids (sans primer or setting spray) and they have lots of different colourways so there's something for everyone.

Any highlighters from either Revolution or Make Up Academy, whether a palette or single compact, they put my Smashbox highlighter palette to shame! Glitterball

OP Tesco have discontinued their Barbara Daly range. Sad Maybe you can find it on eBay?

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 20/03/2019 02:36

Could not agree more with the call on the new No.7 hydra foundation thingy...i bought it as I was looking for a light/medium cross between a BB cream and foundation that I could smoooth on quickly whilst the children are downstairs watching Hey Duggee. It works and it stays and it does have that glowy dewy effect.

JinglingHellsBells · 20/03/2019 08:37

I'm impressed with Garnier body lotion- currently using the oatmeal one which is similar to Aveeno but cost me £2.50 as an offer.

I am really impressed with the new No 7 foundation. I'm looking for a new one and it is as good as high end brands. Only downside is the limited shade range.

I'm a huge fan of Olay 3 point Regenerist and from Amazon it's around £15 yet as good as top end creams costing £40.

Richlyfruited · 20/03/2019 18:21

TracyBeakerSoYeah it's a holiday in a bottle isn't it!!

Agree about Olay Regenerist - I made a costly mistake and recently bought a different brand. Was just being stingy as couldn't find Regenerist on offer but really regret it - it's good stuff!!

I think the Rimmel eyeshadow palettes are brilliant - my DD has a copycat one for my UD Naked smokey. The colours are brilliant and I think they last just as well if not better!

BobbinThreadbare123 · 20/03/2019 18:24

Nyx Epic Ink eyeliner. It stays put, it's better than Kat Von Antivaxxer's one and it's below a tenner.
