Please help me with my saggy eyelids. Any make up tips?

I've always had heavy, saggy eyelids/brows that have always made me look older. I've been blessed though with full lips so I have always used lip colour to detract from my droopy lids. You can't see my eye crease or my top lid so I never know how to apply eye shadow without drawing attention to my saggy lids. Anyone have any makeup tips please. I considered surgery once but I'm too scared. I'm in my 40's now.

Aren't the fibroplast/plasma pen/Plexr all basically the same thing? There's a long thread about the latter on this board that's not too encouraging.

Palominoo regarding the article, what she writes about surgery: "Admittedly, this does still compare favourably with surgery. A friend who had her eyelids done was out of action for about two months. For the first two weeks, she couldn’t do anything that might dry her eyes out, even watching TV or reading. It really was debilitating."

This is not my experience at all. Eyes felt tight and a bit more dry and tired for about 5 days, but I could read and watch tv. After the stitches were out, it was pretty much business as usual. They are still a bit puffy first thing in the morning, but that goes away in about an hour.

And as for pain being 6 or 7 on 10 point scale with the plasma pen, as she writes, I had no pain whatsoever. Not during surgery, not after. Had bought a stack of pain killers, as was totally expecting at least some, but didn't need a single paracetamol.

katharinarosalie same as my husband. No pain. No bruising. The scar is hidden inside the fold of your eyelids, it's genius.

He had it done first day, worked from home on the second day, and was at work again on day 3.

An amazing experience.

I can recommend a fantastic surgeon. David Cheung. Google him.

I've just ordered some of the sticky eyelid things. They cost about £16 for 300 pairs, so I thought they'd be worth a try. I'll report back if they're any good.
