I follow the curly girl method and have done for 7 months but hair still not great. Tried loads of different products. I want the dyson hairdryer but it's so much money!!

I have the Dyson with diffuser. It's great. Smile

My hair went from being very ringletty curly as a teenager, to flat and frizzy. I tried every product under the sun to recapture my curls to no avail. I then decided to go totally natural and went on a hair detox with this shampoo/conditioner.

After around a month, my ringlets were back and the Dyson now makes them all glossy. I think the silicones in the former hair products were actually making my hair straighter after years of use.

Oh I want one but aren't they about 300 quid?

How curly is your curly hair?

I use any old hairdryer I have had for years but with a diffuser on. Never fully dry or it goes horrible. I get a lot of curl if I make an effort.

Or as my hair is fine I just dry it in the car on the heaters Blush This still works.

Heat is the enemy of curly hair if you want it curly. What aren't you loving about curly girl?

Thanks. That product doesn't have a price?

My hair has the potential to be very curly.

Is it curly all the time or only with help? Mine can be pathetically wavy left alone/wrong products/wrong cut or mega curls with help.

Big difference for me with curly girl is a lot of gel, a lot of conditioner and as little heat styling as possible.

Basically way more product than I ever used to use. I like Jessicurl and Boucleme but have tried others too.

You need to pick a size, a fragrance and then a hair type to display the cost. I chose eczema as it's the most moisturising. The 250ml bottle costs £5.30. Its all natural and handmade to order.

The matching conditioner is here and costs £7.

Bear in mind it'll take at least a couple of weeks to wash all the old products out of your hair so it's not an immediate fix.

Forgot to say that you mustn't use products again once you've detoxed your hair, as you shouldn't need them, and it'll take you back to square one.

OP I have mega, mega curly hair. I have never been able to dry it with a hairdryer so can only leave it to dry naturally.

I bought the Dyson in November and it's amazing-a total game changer. It's brilliant on curly and my hair has never looked better. Sorry! I know it's expensive!

Ratatouille76 · 15/03/2019 17:58

Ohh I am tempted! Is it £300?
