Fine lines and wrinkles help

The big 40 isn’t far round the corner and for the first time in my life I’m really noticing that I’m getting lots of little lines and wrinkles on my face. I’d like to invest in a real good cream/serum that would genuinely help to minimise this and make my face smoother (if such a thing even exists?!). Any recommendations appreciated!

Nu Face Mini. Expensive but worth it. Creams don’t work. Electrical impulses do.

Not sure that everyone would agree that nu face is the way to go. I would say botox if you can afford it and retin A (or retinol) otherwise

@Elllllll. You’re right of course. And I can’t do Botox as I’ve had anaphylactic reactions to drugs in the past. It’s right out for me. Retinol IS good but you’ve got to be SO careful in the sun/daylight so that it doesn’t work against you, as it were. I used retinol in my 30’s and 40’s and it made my skin horribly sensitive. I’m a funny one, I think 😊

Thanks. I’m not sure I’m quite ready to go down the Botox route! Looking for something a bit softer than that hence creams Smile

I'm late 30s and looking into botox (best to do from late 30s to 40s or prevention from what Ive read) and currently happy with factot 50 spf and The Ordinary granactive retinoid

Creams won’t work.

If you can tolerate retinol then that has the science behind it but yes SPF 50 every day all year round from now on.

I like my NuFace for toning (good for saggy skin) not sure it does much for wrinkles but I am looking in to getting the LED attachment and LED light is supposed to be quite effective (well it boosts collagen which helps with lines).

Acids (glycolic/lactic) will make the skin smoother and clearer as will a good vitamin c serum.
