I’m plagued by these the last two years.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong!

Here is my routine if anybody has got any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

Foam cleanser
Glycolic acid ( night)
Toning spray
Environ AVST gel
Image moisturizer spf 32 (day)
Calming serum (night)

I have similar and found Dermalogica Daily Microfolliant helped reduce it. I can tell when I haven't used it

I used to get these when I was a teenager and the only way to remove them is to have them professional removed. Or you can do it yourself but it's not for the faint-hearted. I think they're produced by an excess of keratin and dead skin cells. (Once removed you'll see the milia is tiny, black and hard.)

The only comments I can make is to ditch the foaming cleaner and start using a balm which you remove with a cloth or flannel. I'd also recommend exfoliating too.

Oh and I've just started using a Konjac Sponge which has helped

I had a facial and the beautician just lanced them all with a sterilised needle and they disappeared!

Whoops75 · 11/03/2019 20:04

Was that in a regular beautician or a clinic?
I will definitely look into this thanks.

Am also reading a lot about double cleansing, am wondering if that is something I should do.

Just a normal beautician but in Austria, where they do a LOT of squeezing of things during a facial. Grin

Double cleasning changed my skin for the better. I've nothing but good things to say. But please, no foaming cleaners. Use either an oil or balm for the first cleaned and something cream based for the second.

I get loads, especially where my glasses sit. I find an aspirin facial can help, although needs to be done a few times in some cases.

Betty777 · 11/03/2019 22:45

I have had them removed at a clinic in London for just a £15 add on during a facial (if you're in London PM me for the name) She told me it's usually using too heavy a cream that causes them.

Be careful trying to remove them yourself, they can scar
