Chiropody sponge heaven

I went at my disgusting feet last night with a Newton Chiropody Sponge. OMG. There is absolutely no point to this thread other than to say it was just lovely and my trotters are like new.

I got my first pack of these sponges (they're not squishy like sponges - actually very hard and gratey) after a recommendation on a foot thread on here last year and I've never found anything as good. You can get multipacks on amazon.

(Just to make it quite clear I'm a long standing MNer with absolutely no affiliation to whoever makes these things, I just wanted to share my hard skin joy Grin)

Get yourself a tube of heel genius to put on to, and you wont believe your feet in a couple of days.

Oooh. Thank you, I'll try that. I normally use Flexitol which is great but I'll try anything once Grin

It smells MUCH better than flexitol!!!

Newtons are fabulous

MashedSpud · 09/03/2019 22:15

I also tried that sponge after seeing it mentioned on here and it’s amazing.

Sinead100 · 09/03/2019 23:29

Ooh ooh mine arrived today! Do you use on wet or dry feet? Hints and tips welcome!

I love my Newton’s. I buy extra so I can hand them out to anyone who complains of hard skin on their feet. So many friends/family converted.

princessbear80 · 10/03/2019 00:03

Use on wet feet, which have been soaking for at least five mins. Rub decent soap on the sponge. Lovely feet, as easy as that. Follow with flexitol.

Is £4.25 for 3 what I need with free delivery?

I cant wait!

@Sinead100 Wet feet, ideally after a soak in the bath. Put some soap on the sponge and scrub ferociously Grin

@SlangBack There's loads of different options on Amazon...I think I paid about a fiver for three with Prime.

They're brilliant aren't they. I buy boxes of twelve. I also use them on my bobbly upper arms and they work really well
