Advice on a portable hot brush or similar please!

Hi all - wondering if you can help.
I’d like my hair to be a bit more groomed at work but I just don’t have time to faff around in front of the mirror in the morning before I leave. I was thinking that it would be ideal to have a portable heated brush or some such device which I could take into work and quickly pop to the loo and run through my hair to smooth and curl under.

Does such a device exist? Can anyone recommend one? Can you use hair products eg hairspray / mousse etc with it, or is that an invitation to go up in flames?!

Thanks for any help!

I think Nadine baggott has just done a YouTube review on a dafni portable hot brush. I haven't seen it yet but might be worth a watch if you're looking for one.

My step mother had one in 1988 so they have been invented.Grin
I've an idea they ran on little gas canisters...

Are you sure your work bathroom has plugs to plug in a hot brush? Ours doesn't.

No, that’s why I asked for a portable one!

You need the braun style shaper or the babyliss gas hot brush. I've got a braun hotbrush that runs on gas.

the only thing i would mention is that it takes a loooooooooooong time to heat up - about 7 minutes if I am honest! If you light it and then go to the loo and faff about and then try to use it you should be okay.

I purchased mine for a wedding because i knew my hair would get all mussed up in the wind etc (outdoor wedding) it worked well apart from how long it took to heat up.

Got it on ebay for about £20 i think.
