Covering strands of grey

I have a few stands if grey at the top and if I lift my hair there is grey at the sides. Otherwise my colour is strong. Mulling a tint but worried about it looking unnatural and having to do roots. What do people think?

I have the same

Wish there was a mascara wand type tint to do individual hairs

Realistically, I am just leaving it as it is, as I don't want a box colour

I pulled mine out for a while, styled it to the other side for a while and now I'm just embracing it

I use the hair mascara pictured above. You need to apply it then dry with a hair dryer and comb through for best results, but it lasts well (and doesn't run if it rains which was my fear!

When I just had a strand at the front (late 20s onwards) I just used to buy a box dye and follow the instructions for the test strand (generally equal parts bleach and dye, mixed up in a little plastic pot). I would then just apply this to my small patch with an old toothbrush. Repeat a few months later. A box dye could last me years.

I then made the mistake of getting all over colour in my late-thirties and had the hell of growing out the skunk line in my forties
