Bras. Grrr.

Is it just me, or does anyone else really struggle to find bras that fit properly and are comfortable?

I've just spent an hour trying on what felt like 100 bras, and found 1 that fitted me properly. I'm seriously considering buying 10 of them before they discontinue the style!

But what I really need is a new sports bra, preferably non-wired, that's not going to let anything move or bounce. 30E. If you have one that you love, please let me know!!

I have recently tried on 37 bras in an effort to find one that fits properly.

If you don't already know about it, I recommend the website 'boob or bust'. It's a great resource and has links to good places to buy online as well.

I'm a 30F and only wear Shock Absorber Run bras - not the multi sport one, the one with an extra clip at the back.

Some people struggle to do them up but I'm fine with it and it's literally the only bra I feel secure to run in.

I have recommended this loads of times, but if you can afford it, I order a shed load from boobydoo in different makes/ sizes and return all but the one I want (shock absorber again Hmm).

I also have ended up with 3 panache envy bras as they are the only ones that give me any shape or support.

It's tragic having a weird bra size!

Totally life transformations for me

Groggy I have panache envy bras, and they are (almost) perfect on me!

So maybe I should give the shock absorber a go - thank you!

Sasha* I used the boob or bust website (after recommendations on here) a while ago, and it definitely helped me break free of awful M&S fittings (they had me in a 32/34B Hmm)

Finally yes, I should give R&P a try. I always forget about them.

I love shock absorbers too. With your size, I suggest you look on eBay, there are often small back/larger cup combos posted very cheaply.

Best to try on on real life first though, the sizing can be quirky.

Shock absorber Run. Note it's very tight in the back, I'm normally a 30 too but need this in 32.

PlainVanilla · 01/03/2019 19:09

I am a 32G, Rigby and Peller Madison is perfect for me as it has side support. Bit cheaper if you can get them on Figleaves.

Schoeny · 01/03/2019 19:40

Bold fail in my earlier post Hmm

Thanks everyone - looks like the shock absorber run in a 32 band might be worth a try.

Those of you that have one, so you find it difficult to get the top fastening done up? (I've been googling reviews!)

Plain vanilla, I'm off to google the Madison now.

Nope, not difficult for me.

Itskayleigh96 · 01/03/2019 23:21

I'm an F cup and highly recommend shock absorber for any sports bra's. You can find them online or even on Ebay. Also any other ordinary bras I get from M&S, Sainsburys.

GroggyLegs · 02/03/2019 12:05

It's the back size that causes the issues, I've yet to see a 30 in any of the supermarkets.

I feel a pang of envy when people talk about 'cheap bras from Primark' 😂

KatharinaRosalie · 02/03/2019 12:16

It's annoying though that if measured properly, 30F is not such a weird size at all. I'm a 30F/FF and while there are some boobs present, I certainly don't look odd or unusual in any way. I'm also not in any way unusually skinny. Bloody M&S sticking everybody in 34B is at least partly to blame.

Enell - so comfortable
