Commuting flats

I'm about to start commuting by train. It's a 20 minute walk either end, so I can't do it in my usual heels. I was thinking if getting some flats to try and swapping to heels when I get there. I'm in a formal office with smart dresses etc.

I'm 5'2, and find flats uncomfortable/a bad look due to my height. I've bought these but am not convinced! I'm a size 3.

What flats work best for you? Are these horrific?!?

I wear my adidas leather trainers or Uggs in winter. I change to pumps/heels at work.

OP - I could have written this thread! I do like the shoes that you've linked, I've got some very similar shoes in a deep purple colour, from Clarks, and they are usually my autumn/winter commuting shoes. But I totally agree with the posters who suggested trainers or Skechers.

Even if shoes are flat, they're not always comfortable enough for commuting/walking, and I don't want to end up in traffic warden/old lady shoes - so trainers/skechers are ideal, they are very clearly 'commuting footwear' so don't need to work with your outfit or be high fashion. Lots of commuters wear trainers, it's become Commuter Fashion!
