Microblading

Can anyone give me advice on microblading. My eyebrows have always been thin and sparse but recently have started going patchy. I don't know anyone who has had this done but it looks good.

Is it sore?
How long does it last?
Average cost?
How does it actually look once done?

It doesn’t really hurt, it’s scratchy BUT it does smart towards the end when the same area has been gone over a few times.

Think I paid £200 and then I had a touch up which was £50.

Meant to last couple of years, only had mine done in September so can’t vouch for that yet.

They look really natural, you’d never know it wasn’t real hair.

Just had mine done. Cost £180 including touch up. I'm not v happy because one eyebrow hasn't taken properly and it doesn't look like real hair. Think it's just my skin because I've seen other brows the technician has done and they look great. It hurt a bit but was bearable.

Thanks for your replies, I'll do some research into where to go.

I need to tell all of you, when it starts to fade, they don't tell you that your body leaches the colour out of it and the reds are the last to be broken down, my eyebrows two years later are a lovely shade of peach. Put me off having it done again.

Definitely do a lot of research to find the best. I had mine done about three years ago. I have no natural eyebrows at all and they've faded an awful lot but still definitely there. Unfortunately she did them wonky so I've had to draw over them every day from the start. Pain wise it's not that bad.

OrangeJuiceandLemon · 09/02/2019 23:40

I paid £150. I thought it was really painful.

I'm pleased with the result though as mine were bloody awful.

I've rarely seen a natural pair so definitely get good recommendations first.

Some of the women at work look dreadful

@Norfolkenchancemate

Oh no that's definitely out me off!

I had mine done 3 years ago as my natural eyebrows were uneven and overplucked. I have to get then topped up every six months at £150 a time as my skin doesn't seem to hold the pigment as long, so it costs me £300/year but it's worth it to me not to have wonky brows.

I got mine tattooed on instead of microblading. I have oily skin and the therapist warned me that microblading fades very quickly with this skin type. Very happy with the result.
