Achieving the holy grail - fewer but nicer clothes

Ok, I have posted about this before, but have not yet solved this puzzle.

I have some nice clothes in my wardrobe but I never feel like I am well dressed. I think the main problem is that I have lots of things that don’t really go well together, and lots of things that are ok but I don’t really love. E.g. I have several coats but I don’t really love any of them. I am slowly “decluttering” my clothes and trying not to buy anything new for a while.

Has anyone achieved this?

@ ChiaraMontague you're welcome Smile

I think she really knows what she's talking about, although her personal style veers a bit too near to looking classic frumpy for my taste.

I think her personal style is too frumpy for her, full stop. She is a lovely looking woman but that blocky hair, jack up trousers, lurid top with shoes/boots that just don’t go combo she has donned of late don’t do her any favours. She has the air of one of those colour consultants.....

She could work the whole Jean Seberg in Breathless look- it would really suit her.

Agree about her hair. Did you see her blog last night when she posted the first photo she ever used? Her hairstyle back then suited her so much more.
