Lower Facelift

I am considering having this done - to get rid of the jowls, and stop the mole that used to be under my chin from sliding down my neck any further. THey have said they are going to do the usual pulling up of the skin and also liposuction around the neck area.

Has anyone had this done?

They say two weeks before I am allowed out in public.

Does it hurt much.

Did anyone have any problems with the surgery?

Any help much appreciated!

Do you mean a mini lft? i was thinking about this at one time,
Are you having it done under local r GA ,mini ones are often done under local now
I would be interested in knowing where you are having it done, and approx price, you can pm me if you prefer, but very interested

It is the one which just tightens up the area from the chin and cheeks - not the eye area. I do not live in the UK so I am having it done where I live. Had all the pre op tests done yesterday - chest xray, ECG, blood tests - and then the pre-anaesthetist meeting on Monday.

It is a GA - the cost is very cheap which surprised me - around 4k. I had been expecting minimum 7k. But on top of this are the tests (which were actually paid by my private health cover), and post op care (one night in hospital is included in the fee).

mOOrfarm thanks for the info, i Thought that is the one you mean, i think the price is good, there is one performed here under local anaesthetic for around £2,800, local is fine for this, but classed as a mini facelift rather than just a lower facelift
I hope you are pleased with it when you have had it done and healed,i am sure you will be Smile
Sorry didnt realise you were not in the UK
Please update afterwards, very interested to know how you get on

I have similar issues but am too scared and skint to have surgery. Thinking about saving up for a course of Caci (?) lower face only which seems much more affordable though would require a monthly maintenance session.

That is the only problem with Caci, its quite expensive and i believe you have to start with having it twice a week
I had a tester treatment once, years ago, and it definitely did make a difference
Not sure how much exactly it costs now per treatment
