Foundation for dry sensitive skin

Hi,
I don’t wear makeup very often but I recently had a reaction to some skincare that has badly broken me out and whilst I sort that out I ideally want something that will cover the spots up.

I have dry, incredibly sensitive skin that makes a lot of foundation look very cakey. I also have very pale skin. I’m currently using max factor facefinity and whilst it’s the best of a bad lot, it’s still not great. I’m willing to spend up to £30 and also willing to use concealer.

Thanks in advance Smile

Clarins Skian Illusion? It's a very light formulation (though decent coverage) and quite hydrating. I have similar skin (not breakouts but dry and sensitive) and it's one of my go-tos

Skin Illusion - doh!

Watching with interest as I too have dry sensitive skin but get break outs for a week each month thanks to my period Sad

I have dry sensitive skin and have been prescribed dermol500 ( which you can buy OTC) to use as face wash and moisturizer. This has helped and subsequently my makeup goes on better. So my advice is before spending loads on makeup, try and treat the underlying condition first.

Dry and sensitive skin too, am also massively allergic to a specific chemical found in a lot of cosmetics and shampoos etc

I've been using Benefit Wow foundation and my skin still feels good at the end of the day. I really like it.

I have sensitive skin and am similarly pale, and I really like the Garnier B.B. cream in 'light'. It's a light coverage, doesn't oxidize and makes me look more human.

I have sensitive rosacea prone dry skin. My skin is also bad at the minute after reacting to Retinoid (I should have left well enough alone). I use avene products and almond oil which makes my skin feel much plumper/less dry. I use touche eclat ysl foundation. It’s fairly light but you can build up in areas to cover the bad bits. It actually makes my skin look great without being too heavy. I’m fair skinned too. Good luck.

Big fan of bourjois healthy mix (not the serum one)

Double wear nude foundation

Thanks for all the suggestions! Smile My skin is usually well managed but I decided that using a Nivea mask was a good idea when I know that Nivea makes my skin react...
