Nails advice

After 33 years I have finally succeeding in breaking the habit of biting my nails.
Trouble is they still look pretty crappy- thin and breakable and all round the quick is dry and a bit sensitive.
I am more than willing to pay somebody to help me make them look better but Ive no idea what sort of regular treatment to start googling.
I can have them very long as I have to play piano every day for work!

Thank you for any advice

Cuticle oil! Conditions the quick where the nail grows from, so what grows is healthy, moisturised and flexible. You'll be surprised how quickly they will look better with some oil, and rub some moisturiser into them regularly as well.

Any old cuticle oil will do, just find one you like. I do my own nails (gel extensions) so I've used loads, but almond oil is easily absorbed and does a good job. There are some lovely scented ones from Naio Nails for only a few quid.

Burts Bees lemon cuticle butter squished generously into the part where the cuticle meets the nail overnight does a great job of moisturising them. If they're a bit scabby or inflamed, you can heal them by doing the same with sudocreme.

I like Nailtiques best for as a strengthening/repair treatment.
