BB Blemish Balm recommendations please!

So, for the best part of the last 8 months or so I've been using Boots' Seventeen BB Balm (medium) it's been absolutely brilliant, I stopped wearing foundation because it was so good! At mid fourties, it just seems to suit my skin perfectly, doesn't sit heavy on my skin, covers well, without being mask-like. However, like all great things, seventeen has been discontinued (wish I bought a bulk load now!) and I'm down to my last tube.

I did try the Garnier BB, it had good reviews on the Boots website, but when I tried it, it left a horrid orange patchy mess on my face!

I have normal to dry skin, I'd say fair, freckly. I'm not too fussed about wearing anything too heavy now, as I think it ages me more. If I do wear foundation it's usually L'Oréal Total Cover as it's surprising lightweight & only need a little bit.l, but does make me look quite pale in comparison to the BB - it was perfect in colour too (sobs)!

So is there a match to the Boots seventeen BB?

I've tried so many but imo the best is marcelle golden glow illuminator bb cream, £25 you can buy it from birchbox.

The Aldi one is brilliant.

I’ve never tried the Boots 17 one but I really like the Nivea BB, very cheap too.

Thanks for these, will have a look into them, go shopping at Aldi so next time I'm there I'll keep a look out. It's rubbish when great things get discontinued, it was the same with the Boots heat protection hair serum, my hair has never been the same without it :(

I also recommend the No.7 foundation drops. I hate heavy makeup but find at 44 that I feel better with a little foundation. The drops work perfectly.

I was lucky to get a good shade match and it works well with my moisturizer.

I never really "got" all the love for the Nivea BB cream... it's orangey on me and transfers like crazy. The Bourjois CC cream is lovely and not at all heavy - fair and freckly here too.

I like the Bare Minerals one. It isn’t a budget solution though.
