Silk pillow case recommendations

Am looking for a silk pillowcase for antiwrinkle sleep Grin there are loads on amazon but a lot of reviews seem to indicate they are not silk as described. Google brings up some lovely but quite pricy choices

Any recommendations for reasonably priced (cheap but good) silk pillowcases??

I've got this one from John Lewis which is lasting well. Wash it at 60 along with the rest of the bedding. Have had cheaper ones but they have ripped and fallen apart more quickly.

I also have one from John Lewis and it washes fine though I wash at 40 with shirts etc

Are they worth spending more on? Was hoping to fine 1 about £20 but would it not last/work well at that price?

I got the This is Silk one for Christmas and absolutely love it! Not sure how it compares to others price wise but it’s fab and was highly rated by Independent. Also machine washes.

I got a HairBurst one and it's fairly robust. I hand wash it though, even though I do the rest of the bedding on 60, but it dries fairly quickly.

I bought a cheap one online, but although real silk it was very very thin and frayed quickly. When hand washed it shrank. The HairBurst one doesn't do that and it still feels strong even though I wring it out after washing. A quick iron and it's good to go again. So I can personally recommend that one.

Speckledy it helps with your face, as you don't get pillow lines and it's meant to help prevent wrinkles, so it's softer on your skin, and also hair as when you turn over when sleeping it's far easier on your hair than cotton which has a rougher texture and hair can't glide on. Also it's a natural fabric so it's not sweaty (needs to be real silk not polyester satin for that).

lillysilk ones are only about 18 and I've had mine for a year and it's still amazingly soft and it's pure mulberry silk, the same as John Lewis although I don't know about the thread count.

I have several of the Jasmine Silk ones from Amazon and they’ve all been good and are holding up well. I have this one for travel which has a cotton underside so it doesn’t slip. Also have this one in varous colours.

Mine is also from John Lewis and gets washed with the rest of the bedding. Noticed a big improvement in my bed hair since using it. No more tangles.

This Is Silk - great quality, machine washable, nice handwritten note. My hair is much less awful in the mornings.

I have Lilly Silk and John Lewis pillow cases (my DD uses one too as she has very curly hair). I find the John Lewis ones are slightly better than the Lilly ones, but both wash well and have been fine for a few years now. I had cheaper ones before that were very thin and just frayed along the seams.

I have one that's silk on one side and cotton on the other so it doesn't slide off the bed. Under £20 from Amazon.

Will give either lilysilk or jasmine a try I think based on price. I expect to look 10 years younger within days Grin

If I am then still wrinkly I might look at John Lewis in the future.

Mine is Jasmine. It washes well and feels lovely to sleep on. Wish it made me look 10 years younger, but what I don’t get is those awful creases in my face where I have slept on a scrunched up pillowcase. They took ages to go.

I bought this Lilysilk Mulberry Silk pillowcase in Feb 2017 (later bought another) and have used it every day. Washed in the washing machine, and besides being a bit less white, there is no visible wear. I even take it when I go and stay away from home.
