Normally live in LOng flowing skirts or linen wide legged trews, which is why legs never get a tan.

I'm fairly short - 5'4'' and a good size bum so no hot pants. Will wear with wedges as look all umpa lumpa in flip flops.

Don't want to show too much thigh.

TIA style peeps

£12!

I am tall and have v skinny legs at the bottom - picture a flamingo! - so I have to be careful with shorts that they cover my thighs otherwise I look very odd

get some shorts woman, better for playing around with your son (unless you like flashing your knickers whislt on hols?)

who would buy this?

speedymama · 27/06/2007 12:10

Agree about the mutton Ruby. Fortunately, I have been blessed with cellulite free, firm, shapely thighs[smug emoticon]. It's all the exercising I do.

speedymama · 27/06/2007 12:11

Olive, I would wear that without the straps.

H&m have wide selection of shorts, I bought some cargo pocket ones the other day. I wear wide-legged linen ones from White Stuff (last season); straight-cut ones from Gap; 3/4 ones from h&m; and also a pair from Next in their std linen-cotton mix. The linen ones are very cool but do wrinkle. How can you do summer and not wear shorts!

sadly too true here at the moment. i remember this time last year floating around in sleeveless tops and linen skirts - today I am wearing wool trousers, long-sleeved blouse and vest!

linen shorts from Next are really flattering ( as best as you can get in shorts anyway)
