Now I'm sitting eating the chocs and watching top of the pops and I've decided 2019 is the year I have a go at false lashes. Anyone who knows me in real life will know im not particularly glam or girly but just sometimes I'd like to look like I've made an effort. So can you point me in the direction of some good first timer lashes. I want them to be fairly natural looking but with a bit of oomph! Also are magnetic ones any good? Can't figure out how you'd get them on!? I've watched lots of youtube videos but still feel a bit Confused
Merry Christmas x

You should always use separates rather than whole sets (so the ones that come in little clumps rather than an entire eyes worth). Or at least that’s what I’m told/have ever read/have ever had recommended to me. Something about them being easier to control and therefore looking more natural?

Have you thought about going to a salon and having them done?

I have considered going to a salon but assumed it'd be expensive and lots of upkeep?

I had them done at a salon last week ant lasted 24 hrs before I ripped them out as I hated the feeling. My eyelids were heavy ant the glue scratched.

Decided I might try getting my natural lashes tinted as shouldn't feel as bad but will still look a bit better than natural?

I wouldn’t suggest separate lashes - they can be a bit fiddly.

My ‘hack’ for lashes is to buy a cheap strip and cut them into three (or two) - then glue and apply as the instructions suggest!

You can get some cheapies online (Amazon, eBay etc) good for practising as you get a few pairs for little money!

Other than that, Ardell are a good brand, or unicorn lashes do some amazing ones! Or search ‘Demi wispies’ for the fluttery look.

Hope that helps :)

How about LVL lashes? Your own lashes tinted and curled. Looks great and nothing fiddly to apply.

Thanks will look at some of the suggestions
