I love this haircut - will I spend hours styling it?

here

My hair is natuarlly wavy - could I get a similar effect rough finger drying? Or will it take hours of blowdrying and straightening.

I like the look too. I am no hairdresser but my sisters-in-law have naturally wavy hair and they can get this look, but with quite a bit of time spent drying their hair (no straighteners)

Would think it was quite a good one for when little time as your hair is naturally wavy.

the second one is a bit David Lee Roth/80s rocker but I am liking them both!!!!! My friend has hair like no. 1 and she has that perfect type of hair that is get up and go. (bitch) It should be pretty easy to do, dry your hair upside down with minimal product - the product makes it heavy and flattens it too much. Don't use a diffuser, it will make you look permed. A bit of a mousse type of product would be good, but not a lot, you need something quite light. Good luck

it will take hours.....

I am you!

Had my hair cut the weekend before last. Actually wanted very similar to your second style, but was told I couldn't have it because my hair falls into a parting slightly off centre so was told fringe'd always look wrong unless I sprayed it into position. (Couldn't be doing with the hassle.)

So I have a new haircut almost identical to first. Was worried it would never look as good as when freshly done, but actually is fine with nothing done to it. (Don't own a hairdryer.) Do shake it about a bit once it is just turning dry (iykwim) incl. upside down, but that's it.

Think it will take more upkeep than previous style to keep the shape.

I have a natural wave to my hair. I don't knwo what your's is like, but I know I would have to spend hours to get that look, because if I don't smooth it off I look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards. It's the defined curls that would be so hard to get right, and the first style they are all beautifully curled away from her face - roller job I reckon!

I have this haircut without the fringe and have straight hair with a kink - I just ruffle/scrunch and let it dry itself I never spend more than a couple of minutes a day on my hair. Mine is thick though and not flyaway.

I really, like that style, is it with it and trendy right now ?

SlightlyMadShorthair · 26/06/2007 18:30

Hairdresser advised me against it.....because of my curly/wavy hair... Have a chin length bob instead.
