Uniqlo jumper sizing help please!

I've decided (I know it's last minute) to get my DD a Uniqlo cashmere jumper for Christmas.
I need to order it today, but not sure about sizing.
The colour that she would like best is only available in men's but she is very small normally takes a size 6.

Would men's XXS small be ok or would it drown her?
Thanks 😀

Go to the page for the jumper, click on "size chart".

It says XXS = 31-33 inch chest.

If you can't measure her, measure a jumper that currently fits her.

There's a good chance that she'd prefer a promise to buy the women's jumper when it's back in stock, rather than a men's jumper.
They're not the same shape.

Thanks v muchTrills - I might get both and let her choose.

I get men's jumpers from uniqLo and they are great. I am size 6 and buy xs for a loosish fit

If she’s a UK 6 then no. An xxs would be too big. If she’s a US 6 then go for an s.

The arms on the mens are quite long and shoulders broad.

DH wears an XS Uniqlo jumper, he is short and slim with a 36" chest. I'm 5'2" and am a size 10 and can wear his jumpers but they aren't as slouchy as I'd want so a size 6 teenager in an XXS might be OK or it might be too big for her.

I’m a 10 and I wear both Xs and S in men’s uniqlo cashmere jumpers. The women’s S is too short and too tight fitting and poor quality so went back
