As the title suggests, I need a cheap, effective, fast-working spot zapper, pretty please? Looking forward to your suggestions. 😊

I'm interested too. I've been prescribed Duac recently that has helped a little bit. The blue one that is a stronger dose than the green one I used before I think

It’s not really cheap, but lasts forever - Clinique do an anti-blemish gel which pretty much instantly stops my horrible period spots. You only need a teeny, tiny bit.

Toothpaste. Not sure if it works any more/less effectively than a special spot cream (supposedly draws out the grease or dries up the spot) but it stings a lot and feels like it must be doing something good!

Oil. Sounds entirely bonkers, I know, putting MORE oil on top of a spot. But I promise it works. Little blob of coconut oil, or tbh whatever vegetable oil you’ve got in the kitchen, massage it in and leave overnight.

I absolutely swear by Sudocreme for spots. Only for when you're at home/asleep obviously!

Sudocream on the actual spot and sleep in it

Washing face in tea tree face wash keeps them at bay

Soluble asprin, with only enough water added so it becomes a paste. Apply directly to the spot.

Also soluble asprin gargled is amazing at attacking sore throats. Gargle for 15-30 seconds. You can then either swallow or spit the medication

Blister plaster stuck on the spot overnight. Draws out everything and heals well. Best tip I’ve ever had

Boots do a really cheap tea tree based one. It is a double ended wand - clear for daytime, opaque for night. I find it very effective.
