So,
I've tried that sugar thing, waxing, shaving, epilator.

All seem to give me a rash under my arms and the home waxing (i've tried hot and cold) just does NOT work!
I want to look gorgeous in Septmeber in my wedding dress so how can i get perfect pits??

Does proffesional waxing work when it doesn't work at home?

have you tried getting a beautician to wax your pits

its 10 x more agonising than getting your legs done though

Angeliz · 25/06/2007 15:03

No i've never been. Does it work really well? I will do pain if it works and doesn't give me chicken skin.

ive had mine done a couple of times and it was lovely and smooth, lasted for ages too

i just shave in the shower every morning now though, hated even having a little bit of hair that you need to grow for the waxing

did you use foam when you tried shaving?

Bradsmum · 25/06/2007 15:04

Professional waxing is by far the best IMO and just take a pain killer before you go. Have a trial run beforehand to make sure you don't get the chicken skin effect

Angeliz · 25/06/2007 15:06

yes i've used foam, gel conditioner. The annoying thing is i've jsut done one pit with the epilator OWWWWWW so will have to wait for ages for hair to try the waxing. Does it have to be log to get waxed?

Angeliz · 25/06/2007 15:13

The best solution would have been laser or ipl removal (permanent), but you won't have time for enough treatments by Sept. Prof waxing would prob be your best bet in the time left.

Angeliz · 25/06/2007 19:23

How long does laser take (how many sessions?)

Between 3 and 10 or so, depending on the exact method (and stubbornness of your hair!), but they need to be 8-10 weeks apart initially iirc.
