Youga dresses - anyone have one?

I've been looking for clothes to wear to travel in India and came across Youga on Etsy.

The clothes look really nice .. long flowing linen dresses, a little bit hippyish and comfortable and cool to wear. They are described as oversized and I'm puzzled about what size to go for. Off to India in four weeks so I only have one go at getting it right!

I'd like to order a couple of dresses if I was confident about the size being accurate.

Anyone with any experience of this brand?

Just checked Etsy - you would get beautiful dresses, kaftans for a fraction of price

Thanks for getting back to me Professor - I would love to buy some clothes there! Would be very interested to hear where you would recommend Smile

FabIndia and Anokhi and Santushti Shopping Complex have all been mentioned by a friend who used to live in Delhi .. we have a couple of days there at the start of our trip.

Fab india sell good quality clothes - have a lot of clothes from them over the years , they wash well.
They sell clothes for men and children too.. their cotton bedspreads are good too!
I am not from Delhi so don't have first hand experience of the others you have mentioned..
Take as little clothing as possible and buy the clothes while there.. You can get your clothes washed, dry cleaned and ironed for very little in the hotels..

Thanks again for your advice. I would love a cotton bedspread to bring home. Another reason to travel light on the way out!

My sister lived in Bangladesh and says take a favourite dress or two and get copies made there very quickly and cheaply. I know Bangladeshi friends in Scotland tend to stock up on clothes when they go back to visit; it's so much cheaper and lots of choice.

Really good to know that Fabindia is worth a visit .. looking forward to it!
