I had some on my M&S advent calendar and it was ok - didn't see anything hugely impressive but it was the first try etc etc.

However I did think about maybe getting some for my mum. She has fine, thin hair. It's pretty processed and the bane of her life. Is this the kind of hair type which it suits?

Dunno. I've never really been overly impressed with it.

I got it in the calendar too & tried it the other day. Gave my hair lots of volume, whilst making it really soft. I've got fine hair & am very impressed.

I have frizzy curly hair and it really doesn't achieve more than coconut oil which is so much cheaper.

Winlinbin · 09/12/2018 17:19

I use it and love it. I have very fine hair and it works well and a friend with Afro-Caribbean hair also rates it.

The advice I was given when I started using it was to make sure the hair is quite wet when you apply it, not just slightly damp and then be generous with the product working it well in to the ends and mid lengths, avoid the roots. I also leave it on as long as possible, at least an hour and sometimes overnight. It gets me some funny looks if I apply it in the morning to wash off in the afternoon and I answer the door or put the bins out fully dressed but with a shower cap on, but it’s worth it.

It's been a bit meh for me - I have fine flat hair.

Roobub · 09/12/2018 17:55

I have thick, naturally frizzy hair and I think it's fantastic stuff. I definitely think it has a cumulative effect though, so I wouldn't judge it after one use!

MaudesMum · 09/12/2018 19:07

I have fine hair, which was thick but is now getting thinner (in a post-menopausal kind of way) and also gets quite dry and straw like. I really rate the elasticiser - I use it every couple of weeks and always notice a difference for some time afterwards.

OxanaVorontsova · 09/12/2018 19:49

I use it once a week, having received it in a couple of advent calendar/beauty boxes and definitely notice the difference. I have short fairly thick hair.

fatpatsthong · 09/12/2018 20:16

Thanks everyone - Maude, that's my mums hair. I might get her some as it smells nice if nothing else!
