Hair dye advice

I have always had my hair done at the hairdressers going blonde, the last time I wanted a coppery colour and loved it.
It’s faded so wanted to try a home dye for the first time but don’t know where to start.
I will try attach pics of colours I love.

It's quite a hard colour to find in a box dye, I used to do mine that colour and had to get a professional dye from a hairdresser supply shop, I went for L'oreal 7.43/7.44/7.45 or 8.40

You have to buy the peroxide separately, but other than that it's the same as using a box dye, just buy a brush and bowl.

The best thing I ever did for preserving my hair colour was washing it less often, I got it down to every 3 days which really helped, but took a long time for my hair to get used to it and not be greasy!

Thanks, I only wash 2/3 days but need to get it shiny again as it looks all washed out and dull.
I was losing hair at a scary rate so stopped the blonde bleaching and it seems like I lose 10 hairs a wash now instead of 100.

Anyone else any tips??

I have taken to conditioning mine with coconut oil overnight. I have been home colouring for years.

Which brands are good?

Clairol nice n easy. I've used different stuff. The market is huge you have to find what you like.

Tell me about it, I look at them in boots and love them but then read awful reviews

I dye my hair ginger, would say a similar colour to the first one. It's one that has no ammonia. Can't use at as it give me about a 3 day migraine. I'll try and find a pic of the one I use.
Only thing is the colour fades quite fast with copper colours.

It's loreal Paris, casting creme gloss no.734 it used to be called rich honey bit it's changed now.

I use Schwarzkopf perfect mousse. Leaves my hair lovely and soft, even my hairdresser comments on it.

My advice would be don't use professional products unless you are trained to do so.

Also, there is no need for permanent. You'd be causing unnecessary damage. Professional permanent colours do not last longer than quasis or demis. They're for different types of hair.

Revlon Colour Bombs are good for refreshing colour between salon visits or Goldwell Colour mousse. You can buy them in Revlon/Goldwell salons or online.

Revlon definitely do a copper. I've used it before. I bought it from a local trade shop but I know they also sell on Amazon, so check there.

I'm not sure if Organic and Mineral do a copper. Adore do some natural shades, so I would assume they have a copper. If you get Adore I would squeeze some into a white conditioner rather than use it direct from the bottle.

You can get it in trade stores or from people with trade cards who resell on Amazon. AFAIK there are two, one is the three minute system - which is just coloured conditioner. You couldn't get it wrong if you tried. The other is one which you mix with an oxidiser.
