Recommendations needed: Waterproof baby changing backpack

Hello, I'm trying to look for a changing backpack that is waterproof (not just shower repellant).

After baba comes I'll be out walking the dog daily and may well get caught out! I have rain covers for the pushchair but I also want to protect all the baby gear. I'm finding it hard to search because bags aren't really listed by anything but brand or colour that I've found.

Also, most just say water repellant which isn't truly waterproof as I found with my leaky water repellant coat!

Ideally, the backpack wouldn't super girlie so my partner can share the load too.

Thank you!

Could you buy a waterproof cover for the back pack?

Rains. You can get it at John Lewis. Properly waterproof, not girlie.

I don't have any advice on the waterproof changing bag, but after years of lugging about loads of stuff 'just in case', I'd suggest you just come home if baby needs changed? Where would you change baby anyway on a rainy, windy walk? I just can't imagine doing anything other than coming home to sort things from a dog walk. Or if you have driven somewhere to have a walk, leave your regular changing bag in the car?

I do (obviously) take a normal changing bag out when we are at groups or out for lunch or out for the day, but I don't understand when people take them on walks or over the pram handlebars the 10 minute school run? I have done this too but recently realised I was lugging about loads of crap for the sake of it!

I have a toddler now but if we were off on a rainy walk, I'd chuck a water cup and snack pot and a book under the buggy (protected by the rain cover), chuck a dummy in my bra (where I keep them) and off we go!

Thanks so much for the responses- I'll check the bag on John Lewis site ThankYouDebbie. I actually only thought of having a rain cover GetSchwifty when someone cycled past me with one yesterday- really good shout, thank you! Jjemimapuddleduck totally get what you are saying and makes sense especially for short walks. I think we are at risk of being the newbie over prepared parents! However my partner and I do a lot of long walks (live in near the Perbecks) and have done so with my nephew- changing him on a hill side. Not in the rain, but I would like to keep things dry if it does rain before we find shelter. All good advice, thanks all!
