Eye make up removers and your technique

I usually use tubing mascaras which can easily be removed with warm water.

I have just bought a non tubing one and wore today. All good but the removal reminds me why I don't like non-tubing one.

I used a Nivea double effect make up removal, but I always get a film of removal on my eye lens - or at least it feels like that. I feel blurry for a few hours after and look sleepy.

What remover do you use and is there a technique to removing without faff, dragging and getting the remover in your eye?

Nivea micellAIR gel eye make up remover on cotton pad.

Clinique Take The Day Off. I've tried them all and this is the best. No dragging or pulling, no film on your eyeball, pricy but so worth it.

Best thing I have ever used to remove eye make up is coconut oil. A little bit massaged into my eyes, removes all make up, no soreness or stinging. Then I was my face as normal. I have tried everything and this is the best and cheapest.

Another coconut oil lover here. It even gets waterproof mascara off without dragging. I’m sure my crows feet have lessened since using it too!

Big pot of astral cream. Smother face in it including eyelashes. Leave for 5 mins and take it off with a damp facecloth.

I use cotton wool pads with baby oil. I wear waterproof mascara (3 layers) and that 24hr+ eyeliner that water doesn't touch. You need to be thorough and use a second pad's worth if it isn't all off but I've been using this method for around 10-15 years. Very gentle.
