Mine has improved with that Hand Chemistry hand cream. Quite pricey but seems to help

SPF on backs of hands every single day.

Will try the hand cream and definitely start using SPF daily. I'm really good about always using on my face but have never thought about using on my hands. Thanks.

Ask your pharmacist to make an ointment with 5% Salacylic Acid. It removes the spots if rubbed on every day. My mum used it and her hands were like a young woman's.

I have the same problem. Dare I say it my skin is pretty good, despite my being in my late 40s, but I do have a lot of brown spots on my hands which I attribute to a period spent living in a very hot country.

I've tried all sorts of products, from kojic acid to niacinamide, but nothing has worked. Apparently the very best ingredient for fading dark spots is hydroquinone which is banned in the EU but readily available in Asia and other parts of the world. I might try to pick up some of that, but I'm considering intense pulsed light as some say it's the only thing that works for stubborn dark spots. However, it's pricey. How pricey I'm not sure - can anyone give a rough estimate?

I have had good results with the Clarins restorative hand cream ( in a red tube).
It's expensive, but I use it every night, on backs of hands, and it lasts well.
Whenever I've tried a cheaper alternative, I've always felt that my hands do look older (I'm 54).
I pay for regular gel manicures, so figure it's worth using the best hand cream for me, too.
