My 13 yo daughter is mad on make up has loads of it but isn't great at putting it on - zebra stripe contouring etc- I'm planning on booking her for a professional make up session before Christmas and am tempted to pay for the half hour mac one...anyone had this? Is it at all suitable for a young teenager? She watches all the YouTube tutorials but just doesn't quite get the technique and I'm clueless with eyebrows, contouring etc
Would they put a hard sell on products? Is Mac a lot better than a free session at a boots counter?

I’d be interested to know this. I had a feeling a friends daughter had a £50 Mac makeover as a birthday present and then you are allowed to spend that much on makeup afterwards? It probably only buys you a lipstick though Grin.

There's a 30 minute session for £20 as well though I imagine they try to sell more products in this one

Yes I'd say so. The ones I've had haven't done a hard sell - the cost of the lesson is redeemable against the products anyway

What a lovely idea. It’s redeemable against products and for £50 you’d get at least 2 maybe 3 products if you was getting a base product like foundation.
