Leave in conditioner

Hello,

Can anyone please recommend me a nice leave in conditioner? I’ve never used one before but since having a baby my hair has been completely dried out and awful and the hairdresser recommended I try one but in my baby brain befuddled state I completely forgot to ask for a specific suggestion!

I have quite fine hair, although there is a lot of it, so am keen to avoid anything too heavy which will weigh it down and make it worse.

Thanks!

I really recommend palmers coconut spray leave in conditioner, both me and DS love it , it leaves hair shiny and soft and smells lovely AND it is cheap!

I use Paul Smith's 'The Conditioner'. One bottle lasts for ages because you don't use much, but I do have very thick dry/frizzy curly hair so it might be a bit heavy for anyone with fine hair.

I would strongly suggest rosehip oil. You put a tiny amount on your hands (less than a drop so you would dip the pipette in the bottle and wipe a bit onto your bsnds) then rub onto your hands then run them through your hair. It is very good for hair and doesn’t leave hair with the weird sticky/clumpy look that you get with leave in conditioner.

Thank you for the recommendations!

I use Argan oil rather than leave in conditioner

Those who use oil - do you use a wash out conditioner first and then oil or just the oil on its own?

Toni and Guy leave in conditioner is amazing stuff, would recommend.

The Charles Worthington one is very good. But I am obsessed with IGK Mistress hair balm leave in conditioner (but of course it is ££). I haven't found any other product that detangles and softens yet also seems to add volume. Try and get a sample and see what you think.

I use wash out conditioner first. My hair is highlighted and can be hard to brush after washing and the oil helps

Aussie spray one (I think they only make one type).

Body Shop Brazil nut something or other is good but I tend to go for Macadamia oil instead mostly. I wash and condition as usual then just run a few drops through my towel dried hair.
