Body exfoliation

I’m looking for something for body exfoliating. I don’t want a body scrub, I’m looking for something more environmentally friendly. A loofah? Is there a good exfoliating flannel? Thanks.

Exfoliating gloves. Can pick them up cheap anywhere.

Ollivander84 · 09/11/2018 20:41

Salux cloth (amazon or eBay)

Raydan · 09/11/2018 21:12

I'm with molinski. Exfoliating gloves are the best.

Liz Earle has recently introduced a Cleanse and Polish for body, with a mitt for application.
Bound to be worth a try, as it's likely to be as good as the iconic facial C&P.
I might add some to my Xmas shopping list, as it would be a nice present for any age.

I use a Salux cloth. It's great. Once a month or so I use one of those Korean Italy towels too (after a looong soak in a hot bath) which give gross but amazing results.

Bufferingkisses · 09/11/2018 21:41

Yep Korean Italy towels. Life changing :-)

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 09/11/2018 21:56

YY to Korean Cloths .

I've tried the gloves they leave my skin itchy after (but the Korean cloths don't)

Less effort than a scrub too.

shecamefromgreece · 09/11/2018 22:07

Korean Italy cloth fan here too.
Nothing comes close, my skin is the best it's ever been.

Raydan · 10/11/2018 06:34

Q on the Korean Italy towels PPs - I understood they had to be used after a soak in the bath. Is that correct? I don't take baths hence not using them.

Ollivander84 · 10/11/2018 07:06

I use the Salux ones instead as they don't need a soak, so I can use them in the shower. They're more of an every day one and the Korean ones are more a weekly thing

Alienspaceship · 10/11/2018 07:09

Brilliant, thanks all.

Olli I've always been put off the Salux towels as they look unwieldy, perfect for cleaning your back but annoyingly big for everything else. Am I mistaken, please tell me more!

Ollivander84 · 10/11/2018 08:06

I just fold mine up! Sort of into a square and use it like that, or scrunch it up in my hand

Didiusfalco · 10/11/2018 08:09

Is a body scrub un-environmentally friendly - why? Genuine question.

Incidentally Korean Italy towels didn’t work for me at all, just made my skin feel sore.

Ollivander84 · 10/11/2018 08:10

I don't think some of them are - I also like the grounded coffee scrubs or cheap eBay versions!

Raydan · 10/11/2018 08:39

Excellent, thanks Olli

Alienspaceship · 10/11/2018 09:24

I was thinking of yet another single use plastic pot ratver than the scrub itself.

Oh I see. What about Lush for a naked scrub?

Sitranced · 10/11/2018 16:40

Pumice stone.

SeekingClosure · 10/11/2018 20:22

Make your own scrub. I make mine from salt and olive oil, it works better than shop-bought too.
