What should DP + DC wear to wedding im a bridesmaid at?

I'm a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding next summer and will be wearing this.

m.asos.com/tfnc-plus/tfnc-plus-pleated-bridesmaids-maxi-dress-in-forest-green/prd/10406938?CTAref=Recently+Viewed

My DS will be 1yr+3months and Friend wants him to wear a suit and have a forest green tie to match my dress as she said it will look cute in the photos.

What colour suit would work?

DP has a light grey suit. Would that work? Also should he wear a green tie too? Although he's not involved in the wedding, but neither is DS.

Also, we have another wedding next summer. DP is best man. Me and DS aren't involved. Would my dress be suitable for that wedding or I'd it too bridesmaidy? Their Colour scheme has no green in it.

Thanks! I have no eye for fashion.

A tie, for a 15-month old baby? Really?!

I agree with flowery a tie isn't really suitable for a 15 month old, does your friend have children of her own? I wouldn't even have him in a suit, just stretchy chinos/shirt combo with a comfy change of clothes for later on.
As for DP, light grey suit sounds fine but I wouldn't have him in a green tie, so that he doesn't look to be matching you.
I personally wouldn't wear that for a wedding I was just a guest at, but that's personal preference as I tend to go for short dresses.

That's for replies. She has no DC and DS is my first, he's only 6 months at the moment so I'm still learning!

Thanks for the advice. I won't have him in a suit and deffo no tie then!

I think you're right in the dress being a bit much as a guest at another wedding.

Thanks again.

That explains then, sometimes these things just don't cross your mind if you haven't had a wriggly child at that age yet Smile
