Alternatives to frizease?

I have really thick hair and I can't be arsed styling it. I'd love a product I can wipe through it when wet that makes it smoother once dry.

Frizease just isn't doing it - any suggestions?

I have thick curly hair and I just use a bit of conditioner as serum. It works better

Colour wow dream coat

Paul Mitchell skinny serum is fantastic! Transforms my extremely frizzy hair and smells lovely. Word of warning though, in case you get tempted, the shampoo and conditioner in the same range are very heavy and give my hair that 'not properly rinsed' feel.

Have a look at the Shea moisture range, cantu or or if you have a Kevin Murphy salon near you, the motion lotion and killer curls are both good.

R&B from Lush.

Aussie or argon oil both have brilliant detangling sprays which work a lot like frizz ease but make your hair soft not sticky X

Thanks everyone 😊

Moroccan oil is amazing. I also quite like coconut oil from Superdrug but not so keen on the coconut/argan oil one as it is very crumbly and doesn’t melt well.

FogCutter · 06/11/2018 21:03

Another vote for colour wow dream coat, amazing stuff. It is heat activated though so you have to blow dry your hair.

User1983 · 06/11/2018 21:08

I use Nuxe oil which is good. You have to be careful though, as too much can make the hair appear greasy.

Palmer's Curl Styler Creme pudding is perfect for me, but might not be right for your hair. Hard to get in shops but easy online, and relatively cheap!

whatsnewchoochoo · 06/11/2018 21:38

Ah I won't blow dry it, can't be bothered. Coconut oil has made it look dirty and my hair is thick but not curly

Redken No Blow Dry Bossy Cream.

Or Schwarzkopf Got2B hair oil. A small amount on the middle and ends when it is dry gives curls definition and gets rid of the frizz.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 06/11/2018 21:45

Percy & Read wonder balm.

pockledigg · 07/11/2018 05:06

Get some Hyalauronic acid ( I use ebay) and put on your hair - great on skin too.

JanetLovesJason · 07/11/2018 05:11

Urtekram Rose Spray Conditioner with hyaluronic acid. Nordic berries one is also good.

I know a lot of people swear by lube. If you have any, maybe give it a try.

I've been using argon oil and I really like how soft it makes my hair.

WhereAreWeNow · 07/11/2018 12:19

I second Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse. Also recommend the John Frieda primer cream. It's in the same range as Frizz Ease but is a cream not a silicone serum and it works much better on my hair.
