Trying to reduce our recycling & grow our own and reduce meat intake and just had a look at cruelty free cosmetics and that's a real eye opener. I could really do with an overhaul and any help is greatly appreciated.

There are 2 products I really love which are Clarins Hydramask & eyemask and would love to replace these with animal cruelty free ones. Any recommendations?

The rest I usually use Eucerin products which I recently started using as Dr Hauscka was too expensive but realise not cruelty free...

So any recommendations for the following:

Shampoo
Toothpaste
Facial &body scrub
Day cream
Eye cream
Washing liquid
Softener product

I really hope to replace all our cosmetics & other products asap.

I'm making a start with skincare and make-up, so:
Liz Earle
Charlotte Tilbury
Doll 10
Laura Geller
Lush
Interesting that Co-Op own brand are cruelty free -I'm going to get their products when mine need replenishing.

I buy all the supermarket own brand cleaning products, even if they’re not buav approved they aren’t tested on animals.

Coop are one of the best for cruelty free products. Tesco also are surprisingly good. Aldi got leaping bunny status recently. Cover girl was given the leaping bunny this week, the first huge make up chain.. Body Shop's Brazilian owner is now certified cruelty free.

I think once you start it gets easier and easier to find cruelty free.

The body shop, Lush and Tarte have nice, cruelty free products

White Witch Skincare is also great.

The most ethical option is often nothing. There's a few things on your list you could think about doing without?:
Facial &body scrub - use a flannel for face and scrubby body buffer (body shop good for ethical options)
Eye cream - Expensive face cream IMO
Softener product - is this needed? I've never used it.
